Subscription Terms & Cancellation Policy

At Root & Route, our subscription service is designed to deliver rare, freshly roasted single-origin coffees to your door with convenience and control. Subscriptions are offered by Evergreen Sourcing LLC, doing business as Root & Route.
1. Recurring Billing
By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on file for each shipment, at the delivery frequency you selected, until you cancel. The price of each order, plus any applicable shipping and taxes, is shown at checkout.
2. Managing Your Subscription
You can manage your recurring orders yourself, without contacting support. Log in to your account and go to the Subscriptions section to:
-
Swap or add products: change bean origins (for example, from Colombia to Ethiopia) or add extra bags.
-
Skip a delivery: pause an upcoming order if you are traveling or away from home.
-
Update details: change your shipping address, payment method, or delivery frequency.
-
Cancel your subscription: available once you have completed the minimum commitment described below.
3. Minimum Commitment and Cancellation
To maintain the pricing and direct-from-roaster fulfillment of our specialty lots, all subscriptions have a minimum commitment of three (3) successfully billed and processed orders. This minimum commitment is shown on the product page and at checkout before you subscribe.
-
How to cancel: after your third (3rd) completed order, you can cancel at any time from the Subscriptions section of your account, or by emailing us at contact@rootandroutecoffee.com. To avoid being charged for your next order, cancel before your next billing date.
-
Multiple items: if your subscription includes more than one product (for example, two or three bags per shipment), the minimum commitment is still three (3) completed orders, regardless of the number of items per order.
4. Skipping Orders and the Minimum Commitment
-
Travel and breaks: you can skip an upcoming delivery in your account without being charged for that order.
-
Effect on the minimum commitment: a skipped order is not billed, so it does not count toward the three (3) completed orders required before you can cancel.
5. Product Swapping and Customization
You are never locked into a single bean variety. Use the “Swap Product” option in your Subscriptions section to switch origins or change quantities before your next billing date. Any price difference between coffee lots will automatically be applied to your next scheduled charge.
6. Problems With an Order
If a subscription order arrives damaged or incorrect, please see our Refund Policy.
